Take a journey across the vast expanse of the universe, from Earth to its most distant reaches.

Join Assistant Director of the Hayden Planetarium Brian Abbott for a journey through the observable universe, from our home on Earth to the farthest reaches of the cosmos. Using OpenSpace visualization software, explore the scale and structure of our cosmic neighborhood and discover planets, stars, galaxies, and other celestial objects along the way. Experience the universe as never before as we zoom out from Earth and take in the breathtaking landscape of the cosmos.
