Observe the vibrant fall migration of birds in Central Park with ornithologists Paul Sweet (Tuesdays or Fridays) and Joseph DiCostanzo (Wednesdays or Thursdays). Learn how to use field marks, habitat, behavior, and song as aids in identification.

Please note that if you wish to participate, your membership must be active until November 30, 2021. Enrollment is limited, and a member household may purchase a maximum of two tickets. Tickets are nonrefundable unless the program is canceled by the Museum.

These walks are sold as a series of eight. A ticket is valid only for the specified day and time printed on the receipt, i.e.: If you purchase tickets for Tuesdays at noon, you may only attend the walks given over eight consecutive Tuesdays at noon.

To purchase tickets, please call Central Reservations at 212-769-5200. In the event a bird walk series is sold out, you may add your name to a waitlist.

In accordance with the New York City vaccine mandate and the Museum's health and safety guidelines, all participants must show proof of vaccination against Covid-19. Facial coverings must be worn at all times during the bird walks. For more information, please visit the Health and Safety page.
