Members are invited to explore the fall migration with Museum ornithologists.

Observe the vibrant fall migration of birds in Central Park with ornithologists Paul Sweet (Tuesdays and Fridays) and Joseph DiCostanzo (Wednesdays and Thursdays). Learn how to use birds’ field marks, habitats, behaviors, and songs as aids in identification.

These walks are sold as a series of eight. Tickets are valid only for the specified day and time printed on the receipt; e.g., if you purchase tickets for Tuesdays at noon, you may only attend the walks held on  eight consecutive Tuesdays at noon.

The ticket price is $80 per person, for a total of 8 walks during the fall series. Each Member household may purchase a maximum of two tickets. Please make sure your membership is in good standing until the end of October, 2023. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling Central Reservations at 212-769-5200. In the event a bird walk series is sold out, you may add your name to a waitlist.
