A Conspiracy of Lemurs
Tuesday, February 4, 2024
6:30–7:30 PM
Linder Theater

Join us for an engaging conversation to explore the unique natural history of lemurs, their critical role as umbrella species, and the pivotal work of the Lemur Conservation Foundation—an international organization that grew from its founder's many years at the American Museum of Natural History. Moderated by Tom Baione, Harold Boeschenstein Director of the Research Library, this conversation features Ian Tattersall, curator emeritus in the Museum’s Division of Anthropology; Penelope Bodry-Sanders, founder of the Lemur Conservation Foundation; and Erik Patel, conservation and research director at the Lemur Conservation Foundation.

Together, they’ll discuss the science, conservation, and creative endeavors that these extraordinary endangered primates inspire.
