Step into a world of wonder and transformation with Dr. André K. Isaacs, associate professor of chemistry at the College of the Holy Cross. Known for his dynamic science demonstrations and vibrant presence on TikTok, Dr. Isaacs brings his electrifying chemistry lab to the Museum for a special day of hands-on discovery.
Throughout the day, Dr. Isaacs will lead a series of demonstrations that showcase chemistry in action, revealing how chemical reactions produce new materials before your eyes. Find out why colorless liquids can react with the same clear solution to produce a rainbow of different colors, or why mixing colorless solutions can produce a new one that changes colors! And what makes a colorless solution glow blue?
Chemistry is spectacular, and it’s for everyone! Come be part of the magic where science and Pride take center stage.
Demonstrations will occur at 1:15 pm, 2:15 pm, and 3:15 pm.
