Walk the halls and come ready to write!

Join acclaimed writer Tanya Barfield for a free community writing workshop presented by Playwrights Horizons. This generative workshop takes the Museum as its muse and offers a rare opportunity to learn from and create alongside one of the leading voices in American theater and television.

Playwrights Horizons, an Off-Broadway theater that produces world and regional premieres of new plays by living writers, offers free writing workshops that bring the joy of theater out of Hell’s Kitchen directly to the community. This workshop is open to everyone. Writers of all levels and ages are welcome, whether you are a student, a playwright, or a seasoned writer. We aim to build a space where we can create and share. Writing materials and light refreshments will be provided.

After this program, all participants will be invited to the Margaret Mead Film Festival to attend the New York premiere of Nuisance Bear
