Two of the city’s most storied scientific institutions team up for an evening celebrating scientific discovery.

In honor of its relaunch this fall, The New York Times Science desk is joining the American Museum of Natural History to host a program exploring new advances in science and the future horizons they might open.

Guests will include Artemis II astronaut Jeremy Hansen; Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium Neil deGrasse Tyson and Macaulay Curator in the Division of Paleontology Roger Benson from the Museum; and Carl Zimmer and Victoria Jaggard from the Times Science desk, plus many more.

Attendees will hear about the past, present, and future of space exploration, the recent revolutions in cancer treatment, and a surprising question about dinosaurs. They will also hear remarks from Museum President Sean Decatur and new Times science editor Bill Wasik.
