Welcome to Library Fun Finds! An ongoing series where we share some of the fun and unique items we come across in the library and archives collections.
A look back at the Annual Meeting of the Trustees and celebration of the Museum’s 60th Anniversary, held January 7, 1929. The meeting and dinner were held at the home of Trustee and Treasurer George F. Baker and featured these hand drawn place cards for each guest.
Unfortunately, we don’t know who the artist was and not all the place cards made it to the museum (I absolutely would have kept mine) but we do have a fun selection. The cards were given to the museum by Mrs. Edith Baker in April 1953.
