Research Interests

I study convergent evolution and speciation processes by integrating genomic, environmental and phenotypic data. My goal is to identify genomic regions linked to repeated adaptations and to explore patterns of gene flow, species limits, historical demography and phenotypic variation that might be influenced by environmental forces. Bats are my main model system, but I collaborate with enthusiastic evolutionary biologists to study other cool organisms.
