Research Interests

Steve began work as a science illustrator in the 1970’s while still a student at the University of Connecticut, drawing True Bugs for Dr. J. A. Slater, who in turn introduced him to Dr. R. T. Schuh, and ultimately employment the AMNH, where his duties and skills evolved with technology to include digital illustration and photography, which now comprise the bulk of his work.
