Biodiversity research and conservation, especially of reptiles & amphibians; processes generating biodiversity; morphology, systematics & phylogeography of East and Southeast Asian herpetofauna; genomics and role of gene flow in lineage diversification; comparative phylogeography, island biogeography, and historical processes of speciation.
