Research Interests

Dr. Marina E. Gemma is a planetary scientist who investigates the geochemical and spectroscopic properties of pieces of other planetary bodies, in the form of meteorites and returned samples. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the American Museum of Natural History. She received her PhD from Columbia University and the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, after completing her doctoral research as a joint AMNH-RGGS and Columbia student. She received her BA in Astrophysics from Columbia University.
