Ana Maria Ruiz comes to us from the New York Botanical Garden, where she digitized herbarium specimens. Here she is working on imaging specimens and their labels and databasing the label information for the primarily terrestrial Polyneoptera (grasshoppers, crickets, earwigs, roaches) collection at AMNH for the NSF DBI PEN 2001323 project.
