The Department of Ornithology has a combined collection of nearly one million specimens. The majority of our holdings are in the form of skins (flat and round), supplemented by skeletons, fluid-preserved, egg shells and tissue samples.
The collections may be accessed in person or via a loan. For access to any of our collections, please see our Loans and Visits page. Questions about our database should be addressed to our Data Manager.
