Dyeing Poison Frog

Dendrobates tinctorius

These frogs measure up to two inches in length and are native to French Guiana and northern Brazil. They are mainly terrestrial, living on or close to the ground, and their diet consists mainly of ants, termites, and small insects.

Range: French Guiana, Suriname, and Guyana
Habitat: Small islands of humid forest
