Last summer, a team led by Provost of Science Michael Novacek and Paleontology Division Chair Mark Norell headed to the Gobi Desert. Aki Watanabe, one of Norell's students at the Richard Gilder Graduate School, is a beta-tester for Google Glass and used it to record video during the trip.
In this video, Watanabe finds his first fossil of the trip: a dinosaur nest! Watch as he extracts velociraptor eggs to return to the lab for further research.
