PIC’s mission of “Preserving Our Heritage through the Language of Film” emphasizes the support and development of Pacific Islander media towards a deeper understanding of regional history, culture, and contemporary challenges. Established in 1991, PIC is also a member of the National Multicultural Alliance, which collectively addresses the need for programming that reflects America’s diversity.
