This webinar was conducted on September 25, 2012 from 3-4 PM EST, hosted by the American Museum of Natural History's Science Bulletins program and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The webinar featured the visualization's scientific advisors: 

  • Dr. Ned Gardiner, data visualization specialist with the NOAA Climate Program Office 
  • Dr. Healy Hamilton, biodiversity scientist with the Worldviews Network

Drs. Gardiner and Hamilton briefed participants and answered questions about the connections between climate and wildlife, how computer modeling is enabling scientists to anticipate habitat changes, and conservation strategies that could help species adapt in a warming world.
