Adventures in Science Classes

Part of Classes for Children & Families

School-year weekend workshops that introduce children from Pre-K to Grade 5 to a variety of scientific disciplines through hands-on investigation.

Adventures in Science classes foster an enthusiasm for the natural sciences, a sense of wonder, and a spirit of curiosity. Participants use inquiry and critical thinking to engage in the process of science, and every program empowers children to ask questions, make observations, collect evidence, and draw conclusions about the world around them.

One- and three- day workshops are listed below. Your child must be in the appropriate grade to participate in the program. Dates, times, and cost of programs is available in the individual event listings.
