Join us for a virtual talk with Russell Bicknell, a postdoctoral fellow in the Museum’s Division of Paleontology.

Understanding how extinct animals functioned requires innovative approaches. This is particularly important for uncovering how predator-prey systems in the fossil record worked. One approach is a group of methods that involve analyses of 3D data. Bicknell's talk will explore these kinds of methods and focus on how they have been recently developed to understand the limitations of fossil and modern arthropods. In this framework, the current frontier of these tools will be presented, highlighting the exciting future for these methods.
