The CBC hosts the annual Student Conference on Conservation Science-New York (SCCS-NY) at the American Museum of Natural History, providing emerging conservationists with a unique opportunity to network and present their work before leaders in academia, policy, and management.

SCCS-New York is a sister conference to the highly successful SCCS-Cambridge. Begun in 2000, the conference series now includes SCCS-NY, SCCS-BengaluruSCCS-Australia, SCCS-Beijing, and SCCS-Hungary.

As the only international series of conservation conferences aimed entirely at students, SCCS helps young conservation scientists gain experience, learn new ideas and make contacts that will be valuable for their future careers.
