**Deadline extension to April 15, 2023**
Graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, or early-career professionals pursuing or considering the field of conservation are encouraged to present their work. Undergraduate students conducting thesis-level research may also apply. SCCS–NY is an international conference, and we encourage students and early-career professionals from all over the world to apply!
This year's hybrid conference will have both virtual and in-person programming. All applicants must choose if they will attend the conference in-person or virtually during the application process. Both in-person and virtual participants can apply for talks or speed talks, but posters will only be presented in-person this year (but will be viewable to all in digital format on the conference platform).
The SCCS-NY Review Committee will select abstracts for presentation based on quality and relevance to conservation. Applications will be considered from any conservation-related field, including work in the natural sciences, social sciences, or the humanities. Only one abstract per person may be submitted for consideration.
In-person and virtual attendees (not presenting) are welcome and encouraged to register! All registrants must choose if they will attend the conference in-person or virtually during the registration process. Attendee registration will remain open through October 1.
The registration fee for all participants at the conference is $75 USD, which includes access to all presentations and events during the conference dates, as well as any materials and content available online afterwards.
Workshop applications will open March 15, 2023.
